Umpires

  1. Teams need to provide at least four (4) umpires. Some teams have gone to the extent of providing up to eight (8) which has been accepted.
  2. The umpires that teams provide DOES NOT NEED TO BE A PLAYER. Teams are allowed to provide knowledgeable fans, spectators...based upon the judgment of that teams' captain
  3. Any umpire requiring or need training please have your representative contact the League.

Again, an umpire need not be a player but must be knowledgeable of the sport and its Laws and Rules. His purpose SHALL NOT be that to cause disrepute to the sport.

Registration - 2009

It's another year to register players and the same problem(s) are occurring,

  1. Missing representatives - captains, v.captains, managers or contacts
  2. Duplication of players. More than one team registering the same player. (Why does a player allow more than one team to register him?)
  3. Players' names not spelt correctly. Players' names is spelt differently each time they are registered.
  4. Teams don't submit their umpires. Your whole team can't be submitted. The norm has been 4-8 players. Reported umpires are disqualified.
  5. Recommended Registration System is that players register directly with the League. This will reduce error(s) and duplication, maintain a unique database for the collection of statistics and reduce the headaches place on team representatives. This will shift the burden to one group, the League representatives, isn't this why they have been elected, to run the activies of the League in the most efficient way possible. These processes need to be implemented so that future elected officials wouldn't have the same problems year after year.

Scoresheet Submission

It's the responsibility of all teams to send in their scoresheets.

Whatever arrangements teams may engage in to get their scoresheets to the League remains their responsibility.

Correct Spelling!

Please check the spelling of your name as it appears on your team's registration form as well on your team's submitted score sheets. When you collect your trophy, it will have the spelling provided.
